Sahih Bukhari 4021 – English Translation
"When the Prophet (ﷺ) died I said to Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ , 'Let us go to our Ansari brethren.' We met two pious men from them, who had fought in the battle of Badr." When I mentioned this to `Urwa bin Az-Zubair, he said, "Those two pious men were 'Uwaim bin Sa`ida and Manbin Adi رضی اللہ عنہما ."
Sahih Bukhari 4021 – Urdu Translation
جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہو گئی تو میں نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا آپ ہمیں ساتھ لے کر ہمارے انصاری بھائیوں کے یہاں چلیں۔ پھر ہماری ملاقات دو نیک ترین انصاری صحابیوں سے ہوئی جنہوں نے بدر کی لڑائی میں شرکت کی تھی۔ عبیداللہ نے کہا، پھر میں نے اس حدیث کا تذکرہ عروہ بن زبیر سے کیا تو انہوں نے بتایا کہ وہ دونوں صحابی عویم بن ساعدہ اور معن بن عدی رضی اللہ عنہما تھے۔
Sahih Bukhari 4021 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهم ـ لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قُلْتُ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَى إِخْوَانِنَا مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ. فَلَقِيَنَا مِنْهُمْ رَجُلاَنِ صَالِحَانِ شَهِدَا بَدْرًا. فَحَدَّثْتُ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ فَقَالَ هُمَا عُوَيْمُ بْنُ سَاعِدَةَ، وَمَعْنُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ.
