Sahih Bukhari 4011 – English Translation
who was one of the leaders of Bani `Adi and his father participated in the battle of Badr in the company of the Prophet. `Umar رضی اللہ عنہ appointed Qudama bin Maz'un رضی اللہ عنہ as ruler of Bahrain, Qudama رضی اللہ عنہ was one of the warriors of the battle of Badr and was the maternal uncle of `Abdullah bin `Umar and Hafsa رضی اللہ عنہم .
Sahih Bukhari 4011 – Urdu Translation
وہ قبیلہ بنی عدی کے سب لوگوں میں بڑے تھے اور ان کے والد عامر بن ربیعہ بدر میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ شریک تھے۔ ( انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ) عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے قدامہ بن مظعون رضی اللہ عنہ کو بحرین کا عامل بنایا تھا، وہ قدامہ رضی اللہ عنہ بھی بدر کے معرکے میں شریک تھے اور عبداللہ بن عمر اور حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہم کے ماموں تھے۔
Sahih Bukhari 4011 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، وَكَانَ، مِنْ أَكْبَرِ بَنِي عَدِيٍّ وَكَانَ أَبُوهُ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ عُمَرَ اسْتَعْمَلَ قُدَامَةَ بْنَ مَظْعُونٍ عَلَى الْبَحْرَيْنِ، وَكَانَ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا، وَهُوَ خَالُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَحَفْصَةَ رضى الله عنهم.
