Sahih Bukhari 4009 – English Translation
`Itban bin Malik رضی اللہ عنہ who was one of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) and one of the warriors of Badr, came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ).

عتبان بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ جو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابی تھے اور وہ بدر میں شریک ہوئے تھے اور انصار میں سے تھے، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، أَنَّ عِتْبَانَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، وَكَانَ، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
