Sahih Bukhari 3995 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said on the day (of the battle) of Badr, "This is Gabriel علیہ السلام holding the head of his horse and equipped with arms for the battle.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بدر کی لڑائی میں فرمایا تھا کہ یہ ہیں جبرائیل علیہ السلام اپنے گھوڑے کا سر تھامے ہوئے اور ہتھیار لگائے ہوئے۔

حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ " هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ آخِذٌ بِرَأْسِ فَرَسِهِ ـ عَلَيْهِ أَدَاةُ الْحَرْبِ ".
