Sahih Bukhari 3992 – English Translation
Gabriel came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "How do you look upon the warriors of Badr among yourselves?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "As the best of the Muslims." or said a similar statement. On that, Gabriel said, "And so are the Angels who participated in the Badr (battle).
Sahih Bukhari 3992 – Urdu Translation
جبرائیل علیہ السلام نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں آئے اور آپ سے انہوں نے پوچھا کہ بدر کی لڑائی میں شریک ہونے والوں کا آپ کے یہاں درجہ کیا ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مسلمانوں میں سب سے افضل یا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسی طرح کا کوئی کلمہ ارشاد فرمایا۔ جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے کہا کہ جو فرشتے بدر کی لڑائی میں شریک ہوئے تھے ان کا بھی درجہ یہی ہے۔
Sahih Bukhari 3992 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ـ وَكَانَ أَبُوهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ ـ قَالَ جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " مَا تَعُدُّونَ أَهْلَ بَدْرٍ فِيكُمْ قَالَ مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ـ أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا ـ قَالَ وَكَذَلِكَ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ ".
