Sahih Bukhari 3956 – English Translation
I and Ibn `Umar رضی اللہ عنہما were considered too young (to take part) in the battle of Badr, and the number of the Emigrant warriors were over sixty (men) and the Ansar were over 240.

بدر کی لڑائی میں مجھے اور عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو نابالغ قرار دے دیا گیا تھا اور اس لڑائی میں مہاجرین کی تعداد ساٹھ سے کچھ زیادہ تھی اور انصار دو سو چالیسں سے کچھ زیادہ تھے۔

حَدَّثَنِي مَحْمُودٌ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ اسْتُصْغِرْتُ أَنَا وَابْنُ عُمَرَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، وَكَانَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ نَيِّفًا عَلَى سِتِّينَ، وَالأَنْصَارُ نَيِّفًا وَأَرْبَعِينَ وَمِائَتَيْنِ.
