Sahih Bukhari 3931 – English Translation
That once Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ came to her on the day of `Id-ul-Fitr or `Id ul Adha while the Prophet (ﷺ) was with her and there were two girl singers with her, singing songs of the Ansar about the day of Buath. Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ said twice. "Musical instrument of Satan!" But the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Leave them Abu Bakr, for every nation has an `Id (i.e. festival) and this day is our `Id."
Sahih Bukhari 3931 – Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ ا نکے یہاں آئے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی وہیں تشریف رکھتے تھے عیدالفطر یا عیدالاضحی کا دن تھا ، دو لڑکیاں یوم بعاث کے بارے میں وہ اشعار پڑھ رہی تھیں جو انصار کے شعراء نے اپنے فخر میں کہے تھے ۔ حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا یہ شیطانی گانے باجے ! ( آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے گھر میں ) دو مرتبہ انہوں نے یہ جملہ دہرایا ، لیکن آپ نے فرمایا ابوبکر ! انہیں چھوڑ دو ۔ ہر قوم کی عید ہوتی ہے اور ہماری عید آج کا یہ دن ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3931 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَالنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِنْدَهَا يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحًى، وَعِنْدَهَا قَيْنَتَانِ {تُغَنِّيَانِ} بِمَا تَقَاذَفَتِ الأَنْصَارُ يَوْمَ بُعَاثَ. فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مِزْمَارُ الشَّيْطَانِ مَرَّتَيْنِ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " دَعْهُمَا يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ، إِنَّ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ عِيدًا، وَإِنَّ عِيدَنَا هَذَا الْيَوْمُ ".
