Sahih Bukhari 3880 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) informed them (i.e. his companions) of the death of Negus, the king of Ethiopia, on the very day on which the latter died, and said, "Ask Allah's Forgiveness for your brother"
Sahih Bukhari 3880 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حبشہ کے بادشاہ نجاشی کی موت کی خبر اسی دن دے دی تھی جس دن ان کا انتقال ہوا تھا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا کہ اپنے بھائی کی مغفرت کے لئے دعا کرو ۔

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَخْبَرَهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَعَى لَهُمُ النَّجَاشِيَّ صَاحِبَ الْحَبَشَةِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ، وَقَالَ " اسْتَغْفِرُوا لأَخِيكُمْ ".
