Sahih Bukhari 3876 – English Translation
We received the news of the departure of the Prophet (to Medina) while we were in Yemen. So we went on board a ship but our ship took us away to An-Najashi (the Negus) in Ethiopia. There we met Ja`far bin Abi Talib رضی اللہ عنہ and stayed with him till we came (to Medina) by the time when the Prophet (ﷺ) had conquered Khaibar. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O you people of the ship! You will have (the reward of) two migrations."
Sahih Bukhari 3876 – Urdu Translation
جب ہمیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ہجرت مدینہ کی اطلاع ملی تو ہم یمن میں تھے ۔ پھر ہم کشتی پر سوار ہوئے لیکن اتفاق سے ہوا نے ہماری کشتی کا رخ نجاشی کے ملک حبشہ کی طرف کر دیا ۔ ہماری ملاقات وہاں جعفر بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ سے ہوئی ( جو ہجرت کر کے وہاں موجود تھے ) ہم انہیں کے ساتھ وہاں ٹھہرے رہے ، پھر مدینہ کا رخ کیا اور آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس وقت ملاقات ہوئی جب آپ خیبر فتح کر چکے تھے ، آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم نے اے کشتی والو ! دو ہجرتیں کی ہیں ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3876 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ـ رضى الله عنه ـ بَلَغَنَا مَخْرَجُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَنَحْنُ بِالْيَمَنِ فَرَكِبْنَا سَفِينَةً فَأَلْقَتْنَا سَفِينَتُنَا إِلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ بِالْحَبَشَةِ، فَوَافَقْنَا جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، فَأَقَمْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا، فَوَافَقْنَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ افْتَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ يَا أَهْلَ السَّفِينَةِ هِجْرَتَانِ ".
