Sahih Bukhari 3830 – English Translation
In the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) there was no wall around the Ka`ba and the people used to pray around the Ka`ba till `Umar رضی اللہ عنہ became the Caliph and he built the wall around it. 'Ubaidullah رضی اللہ عنہما further said, "Its wall was low, so Ibn Az-Zubair رضی اللہ عنہما built it."
Sahih Bukhari 3830 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں بیت اللہ کے گرد احاطہٰ کی دیوار نہ تھی لوگ کعبہ کے گرد نماز پڑھتے تھے پھر جب حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کا دور آیا تو انہوں نے اس کے گرد دیوار بنوائی ۔ عبیداللہ نے بیان کیا کہ یہ دیوار یں بھی پست تھیں عبداللہ بن زبیررضی اللہ عنہما نے ان کو بلند کیا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3830 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، وَعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، قَالاَ لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ حَائِطٌ، كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ، حَتَّى كَانَ عُمَرُ، فَبَنَى حَوْلَهُ حَائِطًا ـ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ـ جَدْرُهُ قَصِيرٌ، فَبَنَاهُ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ.
