Sahih Bukhari 3821 – English Translation
Once Hala bint Khuwailid, Khadija's sister, asked the permission of the Prophet (ﷺ) to enter. On that, the Prophet (ﷺ) remembered the way Khadija رضی اللہ عنہا used to ask permission, and that upset him. He said, "O Allah! Hala!" So I became jealous and said, "What makes you remember an old woman amongst the old women of Quraish an old woman (with a teethless mouth) of red gums who died long ago, and in whose place Allah has given you somebody better than her?"

خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی بہن ہالہ بنت خویلدنے ایک مرتبہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اندر آنے کی اجازت چاہی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی اجازت لینے کی ادا یاد آ گئی ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم چونک اٹھے اور فرمایا اللہ ! یہ تو ہالہ ہیں ، حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ مجھے اس پر بڑی غیرت آئی ، میں نے کہا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قریش کی کس بوڑھی کا ذکر کیا کرتے ہیں جس کے مسوڑوں پر بھی دانتوں کے ٹوٹ جانے کی وجہ سے ( صرف سرخی باقی رہ گئی تھی ) اور جسے مرے ہوئے بھی ایک زمانہ گزر چکا ہے ، اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو اس سے بہتر بیوی دے دی ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3821 – Arabic Text
وَقَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ خَلِيلٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتِ اسْتَأْذَنَتْ هَالَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ أُخْتُ خَدِيجَةَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَعَرَفَ اسْتِئْذَانَ خَدِيجَةَ فَارْتَاعَ لِذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ هَالَةَ ". قَالَتْ فَغِرْتُ فَقُلْتُ مَا تَذْكُرُ مِنْ عَجُوزٍ مِنْ عَجَائِزِ قُرَيْشٍ، حَمْرَاءِ الشِّدْقَيْنِ، هَلَكَتْ فِي الدَّهْرِ، قَدْ، أَبْدَلَكَ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
