Sahih Bukhari 3794 – English Translation
When he went with him to Al-Walid, saying, "Once the Prophet (ﷺ) called the Ansar in order to give them the territory of Bahrain they said, 'No, unless you give to our emigrant brethren a similar share.' On that he said 'If you do not agree to it, then be patient till you meet me, for after me others will be given preference to you."'
Sahih Bukhari 3794 – Urdu Translation
جب وہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ خلیفہ ولید بن عبدالملک کے یہاں جانے کے لیے نکلے…. نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انصار کو بلایا تاکہ بحرین کا ملک بطور جاگیر انہیں عطا فرما دیں ، انصار نے کہا جب تک آپ ہمارے بھائی مہاجرین کو بھی اسی جیسی جاگیر نہ عطا فرمائیں ہم اسے قبول نہیں کریں گے ، آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا دیکھو جب آج تم قبول نہیں کرتے ہو تو پھر میرے بعد بھی صبر کرنا یہاں تک کہ مجھ سے آ ملو ، کیونکہ میرے بعد قریب ہی تمہاری حق تلفی ہونے والی ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3794 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ حِينَ خَرَجَ مَعَهُ إِلَى الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الأَنْصَارَ إِلَى أَنْ يُقْطِعَ لَهُمُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ. فَقَالُوا لاَ، إِلاَّ أَنْ تُقْطِعَ لإِخْوَانِنَا مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ مِثْلَهَا. قَالَ " إِمَّا لاَ، فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي، فَإِنَّهُ سَيُصِيبُكُمْ بَعْدِي أُثْرَةٌ ".
