Sahih Bukhari 3745 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said to the people of Nijran, "I will send you the most trustworthy man." (Every one of) the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) was looking forward (to be that person). He then sent Abu 'Ubaida رضی اللہ عنہ .
Sahih Bukhari 3745 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اہل نجران سے فرمایا : میں تمہارے یہاں ایک امین کو بھیجوں گا جوحقیقی معنوں میں امین ہو گا ، یہ سن کر تمام صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کو شوق ہوا لیکن آپ نے حضرت ابوعبیدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو بھیجا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3745 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ صِلَةَ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ " لأَبْعَثَنَّ ـ يَعْنِي عَلَيْكُمْ ـ يَعْنِي أَمِينًا ـ حَقَّ أَمِينٍ ". فَأَشْرَفَ أَصْحَابُهُ، فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ رضى الله عنه.
