Sahih Bukhari 3485 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "While a man was walking, dragging his dress with pride, he was caused to be swallowed by the earth and will go on sinking in it till the Day of Resurrection." Along with Yunus, this hadith has also been narrated by Abd al-Rahman bin Khalid from Zuhri.
Sahih Bukhari 3485 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ایک شخص تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنا تہبند زمین سے گھسیٹتا ہوا جا رہا تھا کہا کے زمین میں دھنسا دیا اور اب وہ قیامت تک یوں ہی زمین میں دھنستا چلا جائے گا ۔ یونس کے ساتھ اس حدیث کو عبدالرحمٰن بن خالد نے بھی زہری سے روایت کیا ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3485 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلاَءِ خُسِفَ بِهِ، فَهْوَ يَتَجَلْجَلُ فِي الأَرْضِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ". تَابَعَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ.
