Sahih Bukhari 3462 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The Jews and the Christians do not dye (their grey hair), so you shall do the opposite of what they do (i.e. dye your grey hair and beards).
Sahih Bukhari 3462 – Urdu Translation
رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ، یہود و نصاریٰ ) ڈاڑھی وغیرہ ) میں خضاب نہیں لگاتے ، تم لوگ اس کے خلاف طریقہ اختیار کرو ( یعنی خضاب لگایا کرو ) ۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لاَ يَصْبُغُونَ، فَخَالِفُوهُمْ ".
