The prostration in Sura-Sa`d is not amongst the compulsory prostrations, though I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) prostrating on reciting it.

سورۃ ص کا سجدہ ضروری نہیں ، لیکن میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اس سورۃ میں سجدہ کرتے دیکھا ہے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ لَيْسَ {ص} مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ، وَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا.
