Sahih Bukhari 3417 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The reciting of the Zabur (i.e. Psalms) was made easy for David. He used to order that his riding animals be saddled, and would finish reciting the Zabur before they were saddled. And he would never eat except from the earnings of his manual work." Musa bin Uqbah from Safwaan, Ataa bin Tasaar, Hadrat Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ reports from the prophet (ﷺ).
Sahih Bukhari 3417 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ‘ حضرت داؤد علیہ السلام کے لئے قرآن ( یعنی زبور ) کی قرآت بہت آسان کر دی گئی تھی ۔ چنانچہ وہ اپنی سواری پر زین کسنے کا حکم دیتے اور زین کسی جانے سے پہلے ہی پوری زبور پڑھ لیتے تھے اور آپ صرف اپنے ہاتھوں کی کمائی کھاتے تھے ۔ اس کی روایت موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے کی ‘ ان سے صفوان نے ‘ ان سے عطاء بن یسار نے ‘ ان سے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے ، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کیا ہے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " خُفِّفَ عَلَى دَاوُدَ ـ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ ـ الْقُرْآنُ، فَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِدَوَابِّهِ فَتُسْرَجُ، فَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُسْرَجَ دَوَابُّهُ، وَلاَ يَأْكُلُ إِلاَّ مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدِهِ ". رَوَاهُ مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
