Sahih Bukhari 3412 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "None of you should say that I am better than Yunus (i.e. Jonah)." Musadded added, "Jonah bin Matta."
Sahih Bukhari 3412 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کوئی شخص میرے متعلق یہ نہ کہے کہ میں حضرت یونس علیہ السلام سے بہتر ہوں ۔ مسدد نے یونس بن متی علیہ السلام کے لفظ بڑھا کر روایت کیا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3412 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الأَعْمَشُ،. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِنِّي خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ ". زَادَ مُسَدَّدٌ " يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى ".
