Sahih Bukhari 3403 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "It was said to Bani Israel, Enter the gate (of the town) with humility (prostrating yourselves) and saying: "Repentance", but they changed the word and entered the town crawling on their buttocks and saying: "A wheat grain in the hair."
Sahih Bukhari 3403 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ‘ نبی اسرائیل کو حکم ہوا تھا کہ بیت المقدس میں سجدہ و رکوع کرتے ہوئے داخل ہوں اور یہ کہتے ہوئے کہ یا اللہ ! ہم کو بخش دے ۔ لیکن انہوں نے اس کو الٹا کیا اور اپنے چوتڑوں کے بل گھسٹتے ہوئے داخل ہوئے اور یہ کہتے ہوئے ” حبۃ فی شعرہ “ ( یعنی بالیوں میں دانے خوب ہوں ) داخل ہوئے ۔

حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قِيلَ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُولُوا حِطَّةٌ. فَبَدَّلُوا فَدَخَلُوا يَزْحَفُونَ عَلَى أَسْتَاهِهِمْ، وَقَالُوا حَبَّةٌ فِي شَعْرَةٍ ".
