Sahih Bukhari 3369 – English Translation
The people asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! How shall we (ask Allah to) send blessings on you?" Allah's Apostle replied, "Say: O Allah! Send Your Mercy on Muhammad and on his wives and on his off spring, as You sent Your Mercy on Abraham's family; and send Your Blessings on Muhammad and on his offspring, as You sent Your Blessings on Abraham's family, for You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious."
Sahih Bukhari 3369 – Urdu Translation
صحابہ نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ! ہم آپ پر کس طرح درود بھیجا کریں ؟ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یوں کہا کرو ” اے اللہ ! رحمت نازل فرما محمد پر اور ان کی بیویوں پر اور ان کی اولاد پر جیسا کہ تو نے رحمت نازل فرمائی ابراہیم پر اور اپنی برکت نازل فرما محمد پر اور ان کی بیویوں اور اولاد پر جیسا کہ تو نے برکت نازل فرمائی آل ابراہیم پر ۔ بیشک تو انتہائی خوبیوں والا اور عظمت والا ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3369 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ نُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ ".
