Sahih Bukhari 3325 – English Translation
That he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "If somebody keeps a dog that is neither used for farm work nor for guarding the livestock, he will lose one Qirat (of the reward) of his good deeds everyday." Saib inquired: Have you yourself heard it from Allah's Apostle (ﷺ)? He replied: Yes, by the Lord of this Qiblah!
Sahih Bukhari 3325 – Urdu Translation
انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ، آپ نے فرمایا ، کہ جس نے کوئی کتا پالا ، نہ تو پالنے والے کا مقصد کھیت کی حفاظت ہے اور نہ مویشیوں کی ، تو روزانہ اس کے نیک عمل میں سے ایک قیراط ( ثواب ) کی کمی ہو جاتی ہے ۔ سائب نے پوچھا ، کیا تم نے خود یہ حدیث رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی تھی ؟ انہوں نے کہا ، ہاں ! اس قبلہ کے رب کی قسم ( میں نے خود اس حدیث کو رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے ) ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3325 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ خُصَيْفَةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي السَّائِبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، سَمِعَ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ الشَّنَئِيَّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنِ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا لاَ يُغْنِي عَنْهُ زَرْعًا وَلاَ ضَرْعًا، نَقَصَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطٌ ". فَقَالَ السَّائِبُ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ إِيْ وَرَبِّ هَذِهِ الْقِبْلَةِ.
