Sahih Bukhari 3312, 3313 – English Translation
Ibn `Umar رضی اللہ عنہما used to kill snakes but when Abu Lubaba رضی اللہ عنہ informed him that the Prophet (ﷺ) had forbidden the killing of snakes living in houses, he gave up killing them.
Sahih Bukhari 3312, 3313 – Urdu Translation
ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سانپوں کو مار ڈالا کرتے تھے ۔پھر ان سے ابولبابہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گھروں کے پتلے یا سفید سانپوں کو مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے تو انہوں نے مارنا چھوڑ دیا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3312, 3313 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْتُلُ الْحَيَّاتِ. فَحَدَّثَهُ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ جِنَّانِ الْبُيُوتِ، فَأَمْسَكَ عَنْهَا.
