Sahih Bukhari 3262 – English Translation
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Fever is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire; so cool it with water."
Sahih Bukhari 3262 – Urdu Translation
میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ، آپ نے فرمایا تھا کہ بخار جہنم کے جوش مارنے کے اثر سے ہوتا ہے اس لیے اسے پانی سے ٹھنڈا کر لیا کرو ۔

حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَأَبْرِدُوهَا عَنْكُمْ بِالْمَاءِ ".
