Sahih Bukhari 3128 – English Translation
People used to give some of their datepalms to the Prophet (as a gift), till he conquered Bani Quraiza and Bani An-Nadir, whereupon he started returning their favors.
Sahih Bukhari 3128 – Urdu Translation
صحابہ ( انصار ) کچھ کھجور کے درخت نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں بطور تحفہ دے دیا کرتے تھے لیکن جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے بنوقریظہ اور بنو نضیر کے قبائل پر فتح دی تو آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کے بعد اس طرح کے ہدیا واپس فرما دیا کرتے تھے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَجْعَلُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم النَّخَلاَتِ حَتَّى افْتَتَحَ قُرَيْظَةَ وَالنَّضِيرَ، فَكَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ.
