Sahih Bukhari 3046 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Free the captives, feed the hungry and pay a visit to the sick."

رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”عانی “ یعنی قیدی کو چھڑایا کرو ‘ بھوکے کو کھلایا کرو ‘ بیمار کی عیادت کرو ۔

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فُكُّوا الْعَانِيَ ـ يَعْنِي الأَسِيرَ ـ وَأَطْعِمُوا الْجَائِعَ وَعُودُوا الْمَرِيضَ ".
