Sahih Bukhari 2962, 2963 – English Translation
My brother and I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and I requested him to take the pledge of allegiance from us for migration. He said, "Migration has passed away with its people." I asked, "For what will you take the pledge of allegiance from us then?" He said, "I will take (the pledge) for Islam and Jihad."
Sahih Bukhari 2962, 2963 – Urdu Translation
میں اپنے بھائی کے ساتھ ( فتح مکہ کے بعد ) آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا ۔ اور عرض کیا کہ ہم سے ہجرت پر بیعت لے لیجئے ۔ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہجرت تو ( مکہ کے فتح ہونے کے بعد ، وہاں سے ) ہجرت کر کے آنے والوں پر ختم ہو گئی ۔ میں نے عرض کیا ، پھر آپ ہم سے کس بات پر بیعت لیں گے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ اسلام اور جہاد پر ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2962, 2963 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، سَمِعَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ مُجَاشِعٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَا وَأَخِي فَقُلْتُ بَايِعْنَا عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ. فَقَالَ " مَضَتِ الْهِجْرَةُ لأَهْلِهَا ". فَقُلْتُ عَلاَمَ تُبَايِعُنَا قَالَ " عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ وَالْجِهَادِ ".
