Sahih Bukhari 2946 – English Translation
Allah's Apostle ﷺ said, " I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,' and whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,' his life and property will be saved by me except for Islamic law, and his accounts will be with Allah, (either to punish him or to forgive him.)" Hadrat Umer and Ibn-e-Umer رضی اللہ عنہما have also reported it from the prophet ﷺ .
Sahih Bukhari 2946 – Urdu Translation
رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کرتا رہوں یہاں تک کہ وہ اس کا اقرار کر لیں کہ اللہ کے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں ، پس جس نے اقرار کر لیا کہ اللہ کے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں تو اس کی جان اور مال ہم سے محفوظ ہے سوا اس حق کے جس کی بناء پر قانوناً اس کی جان و مال زد میں آئے اور اس کا حساب اللہ کے ذمہ ہے ۔ اس کی روایت عمر اور ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بھی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کی ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2946 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ. فَمَنْ قَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، فَقَدْ عَصَمَ مِنِّي نَفْسَهُ وَمَالَهُ، إِلاَّ بِحَقِّهِ، وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ". رَوَاهُ عُمَرُ وَابْنُ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
