Sahih Bukhari 2937 – English Translation
Tufail bin `Amr Ad-Dausi رضی اللہ عنہ and his companions came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! The people of the tribe of Daus disobeyed and refused to follow you; so invoke Allah against them." The people said, "The tribe of Daus is ruined." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! Give guidance to the people of Daus, and let them embrace Islam."
Sahih Bukhari 2937 – Urdu Translation
طفیل بن عمرو دوسی رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے ساتھیوں کے ساتھ حضور اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قبیلہ دوس کے لوگ سرکشی پر اتر آئے ہیں اور اللہ کا کلام سننے سے انکار کرتے ہیں ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان پر بددعا کیجئے ! بعض صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے کہا کہ اب دوس کے لوگ برباد ہو جائیں گے ۔ لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اے اللہ ! دوس کے لوگوں کو ہدایت دے اور انہیں ( دائرہ اسلام میں ) کھینچ لا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2937 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه قَدِمَ طُفَيْلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدَّوْسِيُّ وَأَصْحَابُهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ دَوْسًا عَصَتْ وَأَبَتْ، فَادْعُ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهَا. فَقِيلَ هَلَكَتْ دَوْسٌ. قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا وَائْتِ بِهِمْ ".
