Sahih Bukhari 2923 – English Translation
I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) eating of a shoulder (of a sheep) by cutting from it and then he was called to prayer and he prayed without repeating his ablution. There is an addition in Hdrat Abdul Yamam, Shoaib and Zuhri's report: (When he was requested for leading the prayer), he (ﷺ) put down the knife.
Sahih Bukhari 2923 – Urdu Translation
میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم شانے کا گوشت ( چھری سے ) کاٹ کر کھا رہے تھے ، پھر نماز کے لیے اذان ہوئی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز پڑھی لیکن وضو نہیں کیا ۔ ہم سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا ، کہا ہم کو شعیب نے خبر دی اور انہیں زہری نے ( اس روایت میں ) یہ زیادتی بھی موجود ہے کہ ( جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز کے لیے بلائے گئے تو ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چھری ڈال دی ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2923 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْكُلُ مِنْ كَتِفٍ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْهَا، ثُمَّ دُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَزَادَ فَأَلْقَى السِّكِّينَ.
