Sahih Bukhari 2761 – English Translation
Sa`d bin Ubada رضی اللہ عنہ consulted Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "My mother died and she had an unfulfilled vow." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Fulfill it on her behalf."
Sahih Bukhari 2761 – Urdu Translation
سعد بن عبادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مسئلہ پوچھا ‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ میری ماں کا انتقال ہو گیا ہے اور اس کے ذمہ ایک نذر تھی ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ان کی طرف سے نذر پوری کر دے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ اسْتَفْتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ إِنَّ أُمِّي مَاتَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا نَذْرٌ. فَقَالَ " اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا ".
