Sahih Bukhari 2734 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned a person who asked an Israeli man to lend him one-thousand Dinars, and the Israeli lent him the sum for a certain fixed period. Hadrat Ibn-e-Umar رضى الله عنهما and Ataa say that it is permissible to fix a period of time while giving a loan.
Sahih Bukhari 2734 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کا ذکر کیا جنہوں نے بنی اسرائیل کے کسی دوسرے شخص سے ایک ہزار اشرفی قرض مانگا اور اس نے ایک مقررہ مدت تک کے لئے دے دیا ۔حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما اور عطاء فرماتے ہیں کہ قرض دیتے وقت مدت مقرر کرنا جائز ہے۔
Sahih Bukhari 2734 – Arabic Text
وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رضى الله عنه عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ رَجُلاً سَأَلَ بَعْضَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنْ يُسْلِفَهُ أَلْفَ دِينَارِ، فَدَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهِ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى. وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ وَعَطَاءٌ إِذَا أَجَّلَهُ فِي الْقَرْضِ جَازَ.
