Sahih Bukhari 2683 – English Translation
"When the Prophet (ﷺ) died, Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ received some property from Al-`Ala bin Al-Hadrami. Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ said to the people, "Whoever has a money claim on the Prophet, or was promised something by him, should come to us (so that we may pay him his right)." Jabir رضی اللہ عنہ added, "I said (to Abu Bakr), Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) promised me that he would give me this much, and this much, and this much (spreading his hands three times)." Jabir رضی اللہ عنہ added, "Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ counted for me and handed me five-hundred (gold pieces), and then five-hundred, and then five-hundred."
Sahih Bukhari 2683 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات کے بعد حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس ( بحرین کے عامل ) علاء بن حضرمی رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف سے مال آیا ۔ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اعلان کرا دیا کہ جس کسی کا بھی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر کوئی قرض ہو ، یا آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا اس سے وعدہ ہو تو وہ ہمارے پاس آئے ۔ جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ اس پر میں نے ان سے کہا کہ مجھ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وعدہ فرمایا تھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اتنا مال مجھے عطا فرمائیں گے ۔ چنانچہ حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے تین مرتبہ اپنے ہاتھ بڑھائے اور میرے ہاتھ پر پانچ سو پھر پانچ سو اور پھر پانچ سو گن دئیے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، رضى الله عنهم قَالَ لَمَّا مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم جَاءَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ مَالٌ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَيْنٌ، أَوْ كَانَتْ لَهُ قِبَلَهُ عِدَةٌ، فَلْيَأْتِنَا. قَالَ جَابِرٌ فَقُلْتُ وَعَدَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُعْطِيَنِي هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا، فَبَسَطَ يَدَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ، قَالَ جَابِرٌ فَعَدَّ فِي يَدِي خَمْسَمِائَةٍ، ثُمَّ خَمْسَمِائَةٍ، ثُمَّ خَمْسَمِائَةٍ.
