Ibn `Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما wrote that the Prophet (ﷺ) gave his verdict on the basis of the defendant's oath.

ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے لکھا تھا ” نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مدعیٰ علیہ کے لیے قسم کھانے کا فیصلہ کیا تھا ۔ “

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، قَالَ كَتَبَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ عَلَى الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ.
