Sahih Bukhari 2635 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) Abraham migrated with Sarah. The people (of the town where they migrated) gave her Ajar (i.e. Hajar). Sarah returned and said to Abraham, "Do you know that Allah has humiliated that pagan and he has given a slave-girl for my service?" Ibn-e-Sireen narrates that Hadrat Abu Hurairah رضی اللہ عنہ has reported from the prophet (ﷺ): Gave Hajara for serving them.
Sahih Bukhari 2635 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے سارہ کے ساتھ ہجرت کی تو انہیں بادشاہ نے آجر کو ( یعنی ہاجرہ کو ) عطیہ میں دے دیا ۔ پھر وہ واپس ہوئیں اور ابراہیم سے کہا ، دیکھا آپ نے اللہ تعالیٰ نے کافر کو کس طرح ذلیل کیا اور ایک لڑکی خدمت کے لیے بھی دے دی ۔ ابن سیرین نے کہا ، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اور ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیان کیا کہ بادشاہ نے ہاجرہ کو ان کی خدمت کے لیے دے دیا تھا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2635 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " هَاجَرَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بِسَارَةَ، فَأَعْطَوْهَا آجَرَ، فَرَجَعَتْ فَقَالَتْ أَشَعَرْتَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ كَبَتَ الْكَافِرَ وَأَخْدَمَ وَلِيدَةً ". وَقَالَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فَأَخْدَمَهَا هَاجَرَ ".
