Sahih Bukhari 2617 – English Translation
A Jewess brought a poisoned (cooked) sheep for the Prophet (ﷺ) who ate from it. She was brought to the Prophet and he was asked, "Shall we kill her?" He said, "No." I continued to see the effect of the poison on the palate of the mouth of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) .
Sahih Bukhari 2617 – Urdu Translation
ایک یہودی عورت نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں زہر ملا ہوا بکری کا گوشت لائی ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس میں سے کچھ کھایا ( لیکن فوراً ہی فرمایا کہ اس میں زہر پڑا ہوا ہے ) پھر جب اسے لایا گیا ( اور اس نے زہر ڈالنے کا اقرار بھی کر لیا ) تو کہا گیا کہ کیوں نہ اسے قتل کر دیا جائے ۔ لیکن آپ نے فرمایا کہ نہیں ۔ اس زہر کا اثر میں نے ہمیشہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے تالو میں محسوس کیا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2617 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّةً، أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِشَاةٍ مَسْمُومَةٍ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا فَجِيءَ بِهَا فَقِيلَ أَلاَ نَقْتُلُهَا. قَالَ " لاَ ". فَمَا زِلْتُ أَعْرِفُهَا فِي لَهَوَاتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
