Sahih Bukhari 2577 – English Translation
Some meat was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) and it was said that the meat had been given in charity to Buraira رضی اللہ عنہا . He said, "It was Sadaqa for Buraira رضی اللہ عنہا but a gift for us."
Sahih Bukhari 2577 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں ایک مرتبہ گوشت پیش کیا گیا اور یہ بتایا گیا کہ یہ بریرہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو کسی نے بطور صدقہ کے دیا ہے ۔ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ان کے لیے یہ صدقہ ہے اور ہمارے لیے ( جب ان کے یہاں سے پہنچا تو ) ہدیہ ہے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِلَحْمٍ فَقِيلَ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ قَالَ " هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ ".
