Sahih Bukhari 2528 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah has accepted my invocation to forgive what whispers in the hearts of my followers, unless they put it to action or utter it." (See Hadith No. 657 Vol. 8)
Sahih Bukhari 2528 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ نے میری امت کے دلوں میں پیدا ہونے والے وسوسوں کو معاف کر دیا ہے جب تک وہ انہیں عمل یا زبان پر نہ لائیں ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2528 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَجَاوَزَ لِي عَنْ أُمَّتِي مَا وَسْوَسَتْ بِهِ صُدُورُهَا، مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ أَوْ تَكَلَّمْ ".
