Sahih Bukhari 2460 – English Translation
Hind daughter of `Utba bin Rabiah came and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Abu Sufyan is a miser. Is there any harm if I spend something from his property for our children?" He said, there is no harm for you if you feed them from it justly and reasonably (with no extravagance).
Sahih Bukhari 2460 – Urdu Translation
عتبہ بن ربیعہ کی بیٹی ہند رضی اللہ عنہا حاضر خدمت ہوئیں اور عرض کیا ، یا رسول اللہ ! ابوسفیان ( جو ان کے شو ہر ہیں وہ ) بخیل ہیں ۔ تو کیا اس میں کوئی حرج ہے اگر میں ان کے مال میں سے لے کر اپنے بال بچوں کو کھلایا کروں ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تم دستور کے مطابق ان کے مال سے لے کر کھلاؤ تو اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2460 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ جَاءَتْ هِنْدُ بِنْتُ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ مِسِّيكٌ، فَهَلْ عَلَىَّ حَرَجٌ أَنْ أُطْعِمَ مِنَ الَّذِي لَهُ عِيَالَنَا فَقَالَ " لاَ حَرَجَ عَلَيْكِ أَنْ تُطْعِمِيهِمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ".
