Sahih Bukhari 2376 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) decided to grant a portion of (the uncultivated land of) Bahrain to the Ansar. The Ansar said, "(We will not accept it) till you give a similar portion to our emigrant brothers (from Quraish)." He said, "(O Ansar!) You will soon see people giving preference to others, so remain patient till you meet me (on the Day of Resurrection).
Sahih Bukhari 2376 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بحرین میں کچھ قطعات اراضی بطور جاگیر ( انصار کو ) دینے کا ارادہ کیا تو انصار نے عرض کیا کہ ہم جب لیں گے کہ آپ ہمارے مہاجر بھائیوں کو بھی اسی طرح کے قطعات عنایت فرمائیں ۔ اس پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میرے بعد ( دوسرے لوگوں کو ) تم پر ترجیح دی جایا کرے گی تو اس وقت تم صبر کرنا ، یہاں تک کہ ہم سے ( آخرت میں آ کر ) ملاقات کرو ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2376 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُقْطِعَ مِنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ، فَقَالَتِ الأَنْصَارُ حَتَّى تُقْطِعَ لإِخْوَانِنَا مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ مِثْلَ الَّذِي تُقْطِعُ لَنَا قَالَ " سَتَرَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي ".
