Sahih Bukhari 2354 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not withhold the superfluous water in order to withhold the superfluous grass."

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا فالتو پانی سے کسی کو اس غرض سے نہ روکو کہ جو گھاس ضرورت سے زیادہ ہو اسے بھی روک لو ۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تَمْنَعُوا فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ لِتَمْنَعُوا بِهِ فَضْلَ الْكَلإِ ".
