Sahih Bukhari 2208 – English Translation
"The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the selling of dates till they were almost ripe." We asked Anas, "What does 'almost ripe' mean?" He replied, "They get red and yellow. The Prophet (ﷺ) added, 'If Allah destroyed the fruits present on the trees, what right would the seller have to take the money of his brother (somebody else)?' "
Sahih Bukhari 2208 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے درخت کو «زهو.» سے پہلے ٹوٹی ہوئی کھجور کے بدلے بیچنے سے منع فرمایا ۔ ہم نے پوچھا کہ «زهو.» کیا ہے ؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ وہ پک کے سرخ ہو جائے یا زرد ہو جائے ۔ تم ہی بتاؤ کہ اگر اللہ کے حکم سے پھل نہ آ سکا تو تم کس چیز کے بدلے میں اپنے بھائی ( خریدار ) کا مال اپنے لیے حلال کرو گے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ ثَمَرِ التَّمْرِ حَتَّى تَزْهُوَ. فَقُلْنَا لأَنَسٍ مَا زَهْوُهَا قَالَ تَحْمَرُّ وَتَصْفَرُّ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ مَنَعَ اللَّهُ الثَّمَرَةَ بِمَ تَسْتَحِلُّ مَالَ أَخِيكَ
