Sahih Bukhari 2180, 2181 – English Translation
I asked Al-Bara' bin `Azib and Zaid bin Arqam رضی اللہ عنہما about money exchanges. Each of them said, "This is better than I," and both of them said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade the selling of silver for gold on credit."
Sahih Bukhari 2180, 2181 – Urdu Translation
میں نے براء بن عازب اور زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ عنہما سے بیع صرف کے متعلق پوچھا تو ان دونوں حضرات نے ایک دوسرے کے متعلق فرمایا کہ یہ مجھ سے بہتر ہیں ۔ آخر دونوں حضرات نے بتلایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سونے کو چاندی کے بدلے میں ادھار کی صورت میں بیچنے سے منع فرمایا ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2180, 2181 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمِنْهَالِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ وَزَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ ـ رضى الله عنهم ـ عَنِ الصَّرْفِ،، فَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا يَقُولُ هَذَا خَيْرٌ مِنِّي. فَكِلاَهُمَا يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالْوَرِقِ دَيْنًا.
