Sahih Bukhari 2135 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the selling of foodstuff before receiving it. I consider that all types of sellings should be done similarly.
Sahih Bukhari 2135 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جس چیز سے منع فرمایا تھا ، وہ اس غلہ کی بیع تھی جس پر ابھی قبضہ نہ کیا گیا ہو ، ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا ، میں تو تمام چیزوں کو اسی کے حکم میں سمجھتا ہوں ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2135 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ الَّذِي حَفِظْنَاهُ مِنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ أَمَّا الَّذِي نَهَى عَنْهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَهْوَ الطَّعَامُ أَنْ يُبَاعَ حَتَّى يُقْبَضَ. قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَلاَ أَحْسِبُ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ إِلاَّ مِثْلَهُ.
