Sahih Bukhari 2123, 2124 – English Translation
The people used to buy food from the caravans in the lifetime of the Prophet. The Prophet (ﷺ) used to forbid them to sell it at the very place where they had purchased it (but they were to wait) till they carried it to the market where foodstuff was sold. Ibn `Umar رضی اللہ عنہما said, 'The Prophet (ﷺ) also forbade the reselling of foodstuff by somebody who had bought it unless he had received it with exact full measure.'
Sahih Bukhari 2123, 2124 – Urdu Translation
صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں غلہ قافلوں سے خریدتے تھے تو آپ ان کے پاس کوئی آدمی بھیج کر وہیں پر جہاں انہوں نے غلہ خریدا ہوتا ۔ اس غلے کو بیچنے سے منع فرما دیتے اور اسے وہاں سے لا کر بیچنے کا حکم ہوتا جہاں عام طور پر غلہ بکتا تھا ۔ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے یہ بھی بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوری طرح اپنے قبضہ میں کرنے سے پہلے اسے بیچنے سے منع فرمایا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2123, 2124 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَشْتَرُونَ الطَّعَامَ مِنَ الرُّكْبَانِ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَيَبْعَثُ عَلَيْهِمْ مَنْ يَمْنَعُهُمْ أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ حَيْثُ اشْتَرَوْهُ، حَتَّى يَنْقُلُوهُ حَيْثُ يُبَاعُ الطَّعَامُ. قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُبَاعَ الطَّعَامُ إِذَا اشْتَرَاهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ.
