Sahih Bukhari 2114 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Both the buyer and the seller have the option of canceling or confirming the bargain unless they separate." The sub-narrator, Hammam said, "I found this in my book: 'Both the buyer and the seller give the option of either confirming or canceling the bargain three times, and if they speak the truth and mention the defects, then their bargain will be blessed, and if they tell lies and conceal the defects, they might gain some financial gain but they will deprive their sale of (Allah's) blessings." Hammam, Abu Tayyah, Abdullah bin Harith, Hadrat Hakeem bin Hizam has reported from the prophet (ﷺ).
Sahih Bukhari 2114 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ، بیچنے اور خریدنے والے کو جب تک وہ جدا نہ ہوں ( بیع توڑ دینے کا ) اختیار ہے ۔ ہمام راوی نے کہا کہ میں نے اپنی کتاب میں لفظ «يختار» تین مرتبہ لکھا ہوا پایا ۔ پس اگر دونوں نے سچائی اختیار کی اور بات صاف صاف واضح کر دی تو انہیں ان کی بیع میں برکت ملتی ہے اور اگر انہوں نے جھوٹی باتیں بنائیں اور ( کسی عیب کو ) چھپایا تو تھوڑا سا نفع شاید وہ کما لیں ، لیکن ان کی بیع میں برکت نہیں ہو گی ۔ ( حبان نے ) کہا کہ ہم سے ہمام نے بیان کیا ، ان سے ابوالتیاح نے بیان کیا ، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن حارث سے سنا کہ یہی حدیث وہ حکیم بن حزام رضی اللہ عنہ سے بحوالہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روایت کرتے تھے ۔

حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا " ـ قَالَ هَمَّامٌ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِي يَخْتَارُ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ ـ "فَإِنْ صَدَقَا وَبَيَّنَا بُورِكَ لَهُمَا فِي بَيْعِهِمَا، وَإِنْ كَذَبَا وَكَتَمَا فَعَسَى أَنْ يَرْبَحَا رِبْحًا، وَيُمْحَقَا بَرَكَةَ بَيْعِهِمَا ". قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ، يُحَدِّثُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
