The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "One would rather take a rope and cut wood and carry it than ask others).
Sahih Bukhari 2075 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر کوئی اپنی رسیوں کو سنبھال لے اور ان میں لکڑی باندھ کر لائے تو وہ اس سے بہتر ہے جو لوگوں سے مانگتا ہے پھرتا ہے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لأَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَحْبُلَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ ".
