Sahih Bukhari 1964 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade Al-Wisal out of mercy to them. They said to him, "But you practice Al- Wisal?" He said, "I am not similar to you, for my Lord gives me food and drink. " Imam Abu Abdullah Bukhari said: Uthman, the reporter, has not mentioned. رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ
Sahih Bukhari 1964 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پے در پے روزہ سے منع کیا تھا ۔ امت پر رحمت و شفقت کے خیال سے ، صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے عرض کی کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تو وصال کرتے ہیں ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ، میں تمہاری طرح نہیں ہوں مجھے میرا رب کھلاتا اور پلاتا ہے ۔ عثمان نے ( اپنی روایت میں ) ” امت پر رحمت و شفقت کے خیال سے “ کے الفاظ ذکر نہیں کئے ہیں ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1964 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْوِصَالِ، رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ. قَالَ " إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ، إِنِّي يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِ ". قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ عُثْمَانُ رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ.
