Sahih Bukhari 1697 – English Translation
I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What is wrong with the people, they have finished their Ihram but you have not?" He said, "I matted my hair and I have garlanded my Hadi, so I will not finish my Ihram till I finished my Hajj ."
Sahih Bukhari 1697 – Urdu Translation
یا رسول اللہ ! اور لوگ تو حلال ہو گئے لیکن آپ حلال نہیں ہوئے ، اس کی کیا وجہ ہے ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں نے اپنے سر کے بالوں کو جما لیا ہے اور اپنی ہدی کو قلادہ پہناد یا ہے ، اس لیے جب تک حج سے بھی حلال نہ ہو جاؤں میں ( درمیان میں ) حلال نہیں ہو سکتا ، ( گوند لگا کر سر کے بالوں کا جما لینا اس کو تلبید کہتے ہیں ) ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، رضى الله عنهم قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ حَلُّوا وَلَمْ تَحْلِلْ أَنْتَ قَالَ " إِنِّي لَبَّدْتُ رَأْسِي، وَقَلَّدْتُ هَدْيِي، فَلاَ أَحِلُّ حَتَّى أَحِلَّ مِنَ الْحَجِّ ".
