Sahih Bukhari 1684 – English Translation
I saw `Umar رضی اللہ عنہ , offering the Fajr (morning) prayer at Jam'; then he got up and said, "The pagans did not use to depart (from Jam') till the sun had risen, and they used to say, 'Let the sun shine on Thabir (a mountain).' But the Prophet (ﷺ) contradicted them and departed from Jam' before sunrise."
Sahih Bukhari 1684 – Urdu Translation
جب عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے مزدلفہ میں فجر کی نماز پڑھی تو میں بھی موجود تھا ، نماز کے بعد آپ ٹھہرے اور فرمایا کہ مشرکین ( جاہلیت میں یہاں سے ) سورج نکلنے سے پہلے نہیں جاتے تھے کہتے تھے اے ثبیر ! تو چمک جا ۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مشرکوں کی مخالفت کی اور سورج نکلنے سے پہلے وہاں سے روانہ ہو گئے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1684 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَيْمُونٍ، يَقُولُ شَهِدْتُ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ صَلَّى بِجَمْعٍ الصُّبْحَ، ثُمَّ وَقَفَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَانُوا لاَ يُفِيضُونَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ، وَيَقُولُونَ أَشْرِقْ ثَبِيرُ. وَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَالَفَهُمْ، ثُمَّ أَفَاضَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ.
