Sahih Bukhari 1657 – English Translation
I offered (only a) two rak`at prayer with the Prophet (at Mina), and similarly with Abu Bakr ر ضی اللہ عنہ and with `Umar ر ضی اللہ عنہ , and then you d offered in opinions. Wish that I would be lucky enough to have two of the four rak`at accepted (by Allah).
Sahih Bukhari 1657 – Urdu Translation
میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ منیٰ میں دو رکعت نماز پڑھی اور ابوبکر ر ضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ بھی دو ہی رکعت پڑھی اور عمر ر ضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ بھی دو ہی رکعت ، لیکن پھر ان کے بعد تم میں اختلاف ہو گیا تو کاش ان چار رکعتوں کے بدلے مجھ کو دو رکعات ہی نصیب ہوتیں جو ( اللہ کے ہاں ) قبول ہو جائیں ۔

حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَمَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ تَفَرَّقَتْ بِكُمُ الطُّرُقُ، فَيَا لَيْتَ حَظِّي مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ رَكْعَتَانِ مُتَقَبَّلَتَانِ.
